Kengash (Council) of the Legislative Chamber

Kengash (Council) of the Legislative Chamber has been established to effectively organize the activity of the Chamber, to coordinate the work of its Committees, to carry out preliminary discussions on the draft legislation work planning.
Kengash is convoked between the sessions of the Chamber when necessary.
Kengash consists of the Speaker of the Legislative Chamber, his/her vice-speakers, leaders of factions and deputy groups, chairpersons of the Legislative Chamber Committees.
Kengash of the Legislative Chamber resolves issues within its competence, adopts resolutions by a simple majority of vote.
