On April 19, 2013, Committee on the Issues of Industry, Construction and Trade of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis held a seminar on discussing the draft law “On introducing amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On compulsory personal insurance of passengers of air, rail, inland waterways and public road transport”.

February 28, 2013 Meeting on the issues of Industry Development

On February 27, 2013 was held a meeting of the Committee on the Issues of Industry, Construction and Trade of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis dedicated to the progress of implementation of the Program of priority measures on implementation of key strategic projects included in the Investment program of 2012, the expansion of production and development of production of new types of competitive products, as well as industrial programs of modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of production.

On February 21, 2013, committees of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on Information and Communication Technologies and on the Issues of Industry, Construction and Trade held a “round table” on “Improving legislation aimed at radical reduction of licensed types of activities and authorization procedures”.

December 26, 2012 Implementation of the law at places was studied

On December 26, 2012, was held a meeting of the Committee on the Issues of Industry, Construction and Trade of the Legislative Chamber on the results of studying the implementation of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan «On automobile transport» at the Uzbek Agency of Automobile and River Transport, as well as in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Andijan and Surkhandarya regions.

On October 12, 2012, at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held a “round table” on “Improvement of legislation in the sphere of public procurement: legal aspects and international experience”. It was organized by the Committee on the Issues of Industry, Construction and Trade of the Legislative Chamber in cooperation with the World Bank in Uzbekistan.
