On April 22, 2013 Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis in cooperation with the General Directorate of Road Safety of the MIA and the Agency for Automobile and River Transport of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a seminar on “Legislation in the sphere of road safety and increasing effectiveness of its implementation”.

On February 22, 2013 in Samarkand city, Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis in cooperation with the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic and Samarkand regional administration held a “round table” on “Ensuring peace and security in the region – a priority of foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

On January 9, 2013 at the Uzbek musical and drama theater named after Yu.Shakarjanov, in Fergana city, the Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber in cooperation with the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Fergana regional khokimiyat and the Public Council under the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a seminar on “The Armed Forces of Uzbekistan – strong support of national security”, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Motherland.

On November 30, 2011 Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber in cooperation with the Military Prosecutor's Office, Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan held educational and practical seminar on “The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan – the guarantor of peace and sustainable development” for officers, students of Tashkent Higher Military Command School, as well as soldiers under contract.

On November 24-26, 2011 the Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security of the Legislative Chamber in cooperation with the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan held an educational and practical seminar for young professionals serving in the military prosecution bodies of the Republic on «The Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan - the main guarantor of human rights and freedoms».

At the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held a “round table” organized by the Committee on the Issues of Defense and Security in cooperation with the Committee on Information and Communication Technologies, dedicated to the priorities of using modern information and communication technologies in ensuring road safety.
