This was the topic of the international scientific seminar held in Tashkent, whose main purpose was to discuss the issues of openness of public authorities, of enhancing the role of the media in implementing effective public control over the activities of public authorities, of national and international experience in this field, and to make recommendations to improve the draft law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the openness of public authorities and governance ".

At the Committee on the Issues of Science, Education, Culture and Sport of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held a meeting on the results of monitoring and studying the work on implementation of the Law «On Education» and the National Program for Training Personnel in schools of Ferghana region. It was attended by deputies, representatives of relevant ministries, organizations and educational institutions, journalists.

At the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held a meeting on the results of the study of implementation in Tashkent of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan «On Arbitration Courts». The meeting, organized by the Committee of the lower house of Parliament on Legislation, Judicial and Legal Issues, was attended by representatives of the Supreme Court, Supreme Economic Court, the General Prosecutor's Office, Ministry of Justice, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Association of arbitration courts of Uzbekistan and other responsible ministries and agencies, journalists. 

April 5, 2013 In order to save water and increase productivity of land

At an enlarged meeting of the Committee on Agriculture and Water Management Issues of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan information of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources on the work being done on water saving technologies was heard. The event was attended by representatives of relevant ministries, departments, agencies and NGOs, specialists and journalists. 

February 26, 2013 Measures to fight HIV-infected

On February 26, 2013 at the auditorium of the Scientific Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held a “round table” organized by the faction of the Social Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Adolat” in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on “The issues of improving legislation in the fight against HIV: international and national experience”.
