On October 16-17, 2012, at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis were held meetings of political parties’ factions and the deputy group of the Ecological Movement of Uzbekistan, where issues introduced in the agenda of the next plenary session of the lower house of parliament were tentatively discussed.

On October 15, 2012, the Central Council of PDP and the faction of the party in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis organized a meeting with youth among party activists, members of the youth wing “Istikbol”.

On October 15, 2012, the Executive Committee of the Central Council of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” in cooperation with the faction of the party in the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan Boxing Federation held a “round table” on “Our contemporaries – the pride of Uzbekistan: visiting youth”.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov “On awarding in connection with the twenty-first anniversary of independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan's the group of public employees and employees of industrial and socio-economic spheres” deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic Uzbekistan Kakhramon Ergashev, Dilbar Kholikova, Sodirjon Djakbarov and Arslon Eshmurodov presented with state awards.

Draft Concept of foreign policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan, introduced for discussion in Parliament of the country in order of legislative initiative by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, adopted by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis. Deputies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis express their attitude to this important document.

- The Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures on radical improvement of social protection of judiciary system workers”, above all, is important of its specific focus on further strengthening social reforms, in particular conduction of strong social policy, including social protection in judicial system, - said the deputy of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Khafiza Karimova.
