Parliamentary control over the use of budget funds

A regular meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. Fundamental basis of strengthening control functions of the parliament became the implementation of developed by the President Islam Karimov the Concept of deepening democratic reforms and establishing civil society in the country. Parliamentary control over the execution of the main financial document of the country has become one of the important tasks of the Legislative Chamber deputies.

The Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis held a meeting, where a number of new draft laws aimed at further expanding and strengthening the legal framework of reforms in the country in various spheres of our society were considered. 

Deputies held a parliamentary hearing

On February 26, at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis was held a parliamentary hearing on the implementation of measures on development of tourism in Uzbekistan. An information on this subject was prepared by the chairman of the National Company “Uzbektourism” F.Rizaev.

On January 10, was held a regular meeting of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. After the adoption of the agenda, proposed by the Kenghash of the Legislative Chamber, deputies considered a number of draft laws in the first reading.

Deputies held a parliamentary hearing

On December 18, at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis was held a parliamentary hearing on implementation of the Program on realization of industrial development priorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2011-2015. The information on this matter was made by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan G.Ibragimov.

On November 29, 2012, a plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. In accordance with the approved agenda by the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan the session began with a review of the draft law «On introducing amendments and addenda to some legislative acts in connection with the adoption of main directions of tax and budget policy for 2013, as well as reducing the frequency of tax reporting».

Deputies approved a job creation program for 2013

On November 23, was held a plenary session of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. After the adoption of the agenda, proposed by the Kenghash of the Legislative Chamber, deputies discussed the draft program of job creation and ensuring employment for 2013. A report on this issue was made by the Minister of Labor and Social Protection A.Khaitov.
